The InSpire Swim School 
The InSpire Swim School offers a full programme of swimming lessons throughout the year for adults and children aged from six months upwards at four Coventry Sports Trust managed facilities.
Our swimming lessons run 7 days a week 50 weeks a year and follow the ASA's National Plan for teaching swimming with ASA badges and certificates available at each level. Take a look below at how the National Plan (NPTS) fits into our Swimming Lesson Scheme;

The Objectives of the InSpire Swim School in conjunction with the Amateur Swimming Association are:
a) To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn to swim
b) To ensure everyone can achieve his or her personal goals
c) To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle

Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre
Come along and get fit in the 28 or 50 metre Swimfit lanes or just have fun in a casual swimming sessions. Our diving boards are unique in Coventry so why not come along and take advantage of the 1, 3, and 5metre boards which are open for use at specified times.
There is a huge range of fun filled water features with something for all the family in the Splash Pool - Waterfall Slide - Whirlpool Rapid Ride (non swimmers should not use this feature) - Jet Stream (for competent swimmers only) - Bubble Bath (for over 16's) - Mushroom Fountain - Whizz Slide.
There are changing facilities for each pool with separate space provided for males, females, families, groups and people with disabilities. Lockers need a £1.00 coin which is returned after use.

Foleshill Sports & Leisure Centre
Start your day with an Early Bird session or get fit or just have fun in any of our later public swimming sessions. There is something for everyone with Ladies only, Adult and Child, Family and Aquafit sessions running throughout the week. There are changing facilities for each pool with separate space provided for males, females, families, groups and people with disabilities. Lockers need a 50p coin which is returned after use.

Free Swimming for Children and over 60's

Coventry City Council has signed up to the government project which provides free swimming for those aged 16 and under or 60+. Funding for this project will be available for a two year period.
The free swim scheme will end on 31st March 2011.
To take advantage of this concession, it is necessary to register at the Reception desk (Foleshill Sports & Leisure Centre or Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre) before your first visit. You will then be issued with a Swim Card which can be used at our Coventry, Foleshill, Foxford and Tile Hill Wood Centres and which must be shown each time you swim. Your card will be provided free but any replacement cards will incur a £2.50 charge.
You will be charged for a swim without a card - so don't forget to bring your photographic I.D with you in order to register.

Swimming Admissions Policy
- Children aged four years and under must be supervised on a one to one basis at all times
- Children aged five, six and seven can be supervised on a two to one basis.
- All children under the age of eight must be supervised by a responsible adult aged at least 18 years
