Moat House becomes Quest accredited with ‘Good’ rating after review

CV Life’s Moat House Community and Leisure Centre has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in a recent Quest accreditation.

Quest is a Sport England-recommended Continuous Improvement Tool for leisure facilities in the UK. It is designed to measure how effective organisations are at providing customer service.

After weeks of internal preparation to ensure all was in order, the review took place last month, with the result coming through this week.

Occurring at Moat House in September, the review’s positive outcome was delivered in October.

The review takes into consideration a host of different elements, including, but not limited to, the venue’s customer service excellence, its investment in people, adherence to the European quality framework model and their vision for sport.

Moat House is the first of CV Life’s venues to go through the Quest accreditation process, with assessors next moving on to the organisation’s Alan Higgs Centre – it is expected that in time all CV Life leisure venues will bear this standard of quality accolade.

Kayne Mann, venue manager at Moat House, said: “I’m really pleased and so proud we were able to achieve a ‘Good’ rating in the recent Quest review.

“A lot of preparation and hard work went into ensuring we achieved our goal by showing our quality and dedication to customers and our staff.

“My team has worked incredibly hard getting prepared for this and I want to thank each of them for their contribution.

“However, the real challenge is not just in maintaining the standard we have achieved, but in improving on it and doing so day in and day out.”

Steve Wiles is Director of Operations at CV Life. He said: “I want to say a huge congratulations to everyone involved in obtaining the ‘Good’ result in the recent assessment and certification at the Moat House.

“It’s a real credit as the first of our facilities to be taken through the process as well as a real testament to what has clearly been a lot of hard work – not just within the facility itself, but also in collating all of the necessary documentation and policies.

“I’d also like to extend a huge thank you to our partners whose efforts contributed to this fantastic outcome and the impacts that CV Life continue to make in local communities”

“Though it is nice to have the accreditation and plaque on the wall – the real key is now to maintain and improve upon a benchmark that has been deservedly achieved.

“I know the team will use the same energy and dedication when the Alan Higgs Centre is subject to the same process. Well done all on a fantastic achievement.”

Dianne Williams, Director of the Moat House Community Trust said: “The Trust and CV Life are working closely to deliver an ever-widening offer for the community served by Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre and we are delighted that we have been recognised by Quest as delivering to high standards.”
