Facility Assistant - MHLC

The Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre is looking for Facility Assistants to work as part of a team to ensure that activities are set up on time and that the building meets a high level of cleanliness and presentation at all times.

The post requires applicants to be able to work evenings and weekends on a casual basis.

Whilst cleaning is a key aspect of the post, the Facility Assistant is required to set up sports equipment according to the timetable and prepare rooms for seminars and courses in one of our two classrooms.

Applicants must be self-motivated with an enthusiasm to present the Centre to a high standard.

No experience is necessary and full training will be given to the right applicant.

Fitness Instructor - MHLC

The Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre is looking to recruit Fitness Instructors to work alongside the current fitness team on a casual basis, providing high standards of advice and customer service whilst working in the fitness suite.

The main duties are providing inductions, program design, customer interaction, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and lead motivational promotions as directed by the management team.

Applicants must be passionate, self-motivated with an enthusiasm to build a good rapport with existing and new members and be driven to provide outstanding customer service.

Experience in teaching group exercise classes or a recognised GP Referral Qualification would be an advantage.

Rate: £7.78 per hour

Swimming Teachers and Teaching Assistants

Coventry Sports and Leisure Centre are looking to recruit Level 1 and Level 2 ASA qualified Swimming Teachers and Teaching Assistants to deliver various swimming programmes throughout the year for adults and children of all ages and abilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic team players, who are customer focused, reliable, able to work evenings and weekends and who hold a current ASA Level 1 or 2 certificates in Teaching Aquatics.

Certificates in other disciplines such as diving, synchronized swimming, water polo, competitive swimming etc. as well as previous experience would be desirable.

PLEASE NOTE: Enhanced DBS Clearance is a requirement for this role. Applicants must either be enlisted on the DBS Update Register or willing to apply for a DBS Certificate via Coventry Sports Trust.

Hours: Variable - including after school and weekends 
Rate: £8.5468 - £12.8202
