Description:

The Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic person to compliment the reception team.

Duties include answering incoming calls, operating the till, taking bookings, maintaining appropriate levels of customer literature, managing block bookings and a range of administrative tasks.

It is essential that the successful candidate is a team player and has good computer, communication and customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends and be willing to cover others in their role if needed.

Hours: 16.5 hrs per week

Rate: £6.9974

Description:

Coventry Sports Trust are seeking experienced Greenkeepers to join their team at Brandon Wood Golf Course.

The right candidate should have the following:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience on a parkland course
  • A good understanding of modern machinery including setup and maintenance
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Own transport (due to location) and be able to work flexible hours

Additional desirable qualities:

  • NVQ Level 2 Sports Turf
  • PA1, PA2, PA3 spraying qualifications

Department: Operations

Hours: Seasonal - avg 37.5 a week

Rate: £7.34 per hour

Description:

Coventry Sports Foundation are seeking two caring and enthusiastic individuals with good communication skills to work within The Alan Higgs Centre’s crèche facility caring for young children.

The successful candidates for this position will be part of a team who are responsible for providing children with a varied range of opportunities for play and learning, whilst ensuring that the children are in a safe and stimulating environment.

The post-holders will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 standard (or recognised equivalent). Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene would be an advantage.

The principal place of employment will be The Alan Higgs Centre and full training will be provided.

Maintenance Worker

Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent DIY skills and previous experience in a similar role.

Duties include repairing damaged and broken equipment/fixtures and fittings in accordance with the Centre's planned programme of repair, and painting and decorating.

The principal place of employment will be Centre AT7 and full training will be provided.

A flexible approach is necessary as from time to time the post may require the post-holder to work in excess of the specified hours.

Description:

Coventry Sports Foundation is a well-established charitable sporting Trust in Coventry, who are currently launching a new grass roots development programme - ‘Engage', which seeks to use rugby and ‘rugby values' as a catalyst and vehicle for transformational change within communities - both socially and educationally.

Currently, the Foundation is seeking to recruit a Rugby Inclusion Manager who will be responsible for the development and growth of a wide range of delivery partnerships and programmes, to meet the organisation's five strategic objectives - which are all drawn from the sport's five core values.

Reporting to the Community Development Manager and a city wide representative steering group, the successful candidate is likely to have experience in managing areas of rugby development and social inclusion, with a special emphasis on working within inner city communities and areas of under representation.

The post is a new appointment and will require a high level of personal motivation, commitment and dedication to manage and implement the development of early initiatives, along with a flexible attitude to working patterns and a depth of strength in organisational and administration skills.

Hours: Full Time
