Coventry Sports Trust - Leisure Assistant

Description:

The Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre is looking for a Leisure Assistant to work as part of a team of 3 to ensure that activities are set up on time and that the building meets a high level of cleanliness and presentation at all times.

The post requires applicants to be able to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis with flexibility to be able to work extra if necessary to cover others.

Whilst cleaning is a key aspect of the post, the leisure assistant is required to set up sports equipment according to the timetable and prepare rooms for seminars and courses in one of our two classrooms

Applicants must be self-motivated with an enthusiasm to present the Centre to a high standard.

No experience is necessary and full training will be given to the right applicant.

Department: Operations

Hours: 15.33 per week - average over a 3 week rota

Rate: £6.5382 per hour (over 21)

Coventry Sports Foundation - Community Rugby Inclusion Officer

Description:

Coventry Sports Foundation is a well-established charitable sporting Trust in Coventry, which is currently launching a new grassroots development programme – ‘Engage!’. The programme seeks to use rugby and ‘rugby values’ as a catalyst for transformational change within communities – both socially and educationally.

The Foundation is seeking to recruit a Rugby Inclusion Officer, who will be responsible for the development and growth of a wide range of delivery partnerships and programmes aimed at meeting the organisation’s five key strategic objectives, which are drawn from rugby’s five core values.

Reporting to both the Community Development Manager and a city-wide representative steering group, the successful candidate is likely to have experience in areas of rugby development and social inclusion, particularly within inner city communities and areas of under-representation.

The post is a new appointment and will require a high level of personal motivation, commitment and dedication to drive the development of early initiatives, as well as a flexible attitude towards working patterns and strong organisational and administrative skills.
