At Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre we pride ourselves in having a huge range of opportunities that not only keep you in good shape, an essential part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle, but also lets you enjoy life while making new friends or socialising with current friends and acquaintances. We have lots on offer for our Over 50’s – ranging from Swimming, to Group Exercise Classes to Bowls, to Golf and lots, lots more…
To make it easier, our Group Exercise classes are set to specific levels to ensure you attend the right class for your fitness level. Our beginner’s classes are ideal for anyone new to exercise or returning after a break. These classes offer easy to follow routines to ensure you learn the correct basic moves.
Our ‘Prime Time Fitness’ classes are specifically tailored for our more mature customers who want a gentle workout, to increase mobility and flexibility, while our beginner’s Yoga class promotes good breathing and deep relaxation. This class helps to restore flexibility, energy, calm and a sense of well-being.
Our dance classes are incredibly popular with the 50+ age-group. Come and have a go at Tap Dancing or Line Dancing. You don’t need a partner, so this is a great way to make new friends and keep fit at the same time.

ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS
These run throughout the week and there is no booking needed – just come along and have a go. We also cater for nervous adults, where there will be a teacher on poolside and also one in the water to help build water confidence. Please telephone Reception on 024 7625 2525 for more details
If you prefer to exercise in the water, but are not a very confident a swimmer, why not try one of our ‘Aquafit’ sessions for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Click here for timetables.
We also have Toning Tables available, which are a great way to achieve improvements in posture, flexibility, joint and muscle mobility and in some cases inch loss.

OVER 60’S CLUB
The Over 60’s Club provides an excellent opportunity to make friends, have fun and keep fit. You can choose from sequence dancing, badminton, table tennis, swimming and bowls.
